ProspectSoft Limited has added a higher dimension to its business and to its training syllabus with the appointment of a select number of Development Partners. From now on, ProspectSoft’s development and training functions will be working with those Partners to get the very best out of ProspectSoft CRM for Resellers and for customers.

The ProspectSoft XML API module allows the Development partner to integrate other products directly into the ProspectSoft CRM data and application layers. It also allows users to customise the ProspectSoft CRM user interface and business logic to meet specific customer demands. This is a 3 day course.

Part 1 – Integrating applications into ProspectSoft CRM

This day concentrates on integrating external applications into the ProspectSoft CRM data and application layer.

Part 2 – Customising the ProspectSoft CRM User Interface

This day concentrates on the ability to write COM objects that are triggered by specific events in the ProspectSoft user interface.

The course will finish with an Accreditation Paper.

Attendees must have a strong practical knowledge of:

 • The ProspectSoft CRM application and database structure

 • SQL select statements

 • XML data formats

 • Visual Basic application development and, in particular, creating COM    objects in Visual Basic

 • Working knowledge of how to create and load ProspectSoft CRM reports    will also be useful

Unlike the other courses (Sales, Installation, Reporter etc) the Developer will need to purchase development licenses for the appropriate development software suites

For ProspectSoft XML API development, developers will require a Visual Basic 6 licence (alternative XML compliant environments can be supported)
